Kolkata City Sightseeing Tour
Our core product and the one to book if you book one thing. North to south across the whole city in a single well-sequenced day, ordered so the light and the crowds are right at each stop rather than convenient for the driver.

See the hour-by-hour day
- Pick-up
From your hotel, or from your chosen boarding point.
- Mullick Ghat flower market
Forty-five minutes on foot under Howrah Bridge, while the wholesale trade is still running. The busiest and least photographed hour of the Kolkata day.
- Howrah Bridge and the Strand
Twenty minutes at the river. No photography from the bridge itself — it is a defence installation and the rule is enforced.
- Kumartuli
An hour walking the idol-makers’ lanes, three kilometres north. Studio interiors by arrangement.
- Marble Palace
Forty-five minutes in the Mullick family’s 1835 mansion. Free entry; closed one day a week.
- Jorasanko Thakurbari
Forty-five minutes in Tagore’s family house. Closed one day a week.
- College Street and a lunch stop
An hour and a quarter — the booksellers’ mile, and a sit-down Bengali lunch at your own cost.
- Victoria Memorial
An hour and a quarter across the galleries and the gardens. Your ticket covers both; a garden ticket bought at the gate would not.
- St Paul’s Cathedral
Twenty minutes, with the afternoon light on the west front.
- Drop-off
Back at your hotel or boarding point.
Driving on this route is about 35 km, all within the city. Timings shift a little with traffic and with the season — the order does not.
